Doss Blockos Pale Lager

East 9th Brewing Company

From the get-go this beer stood out as different due to the homeless/hipster paper bags each stubby comes sheathed in. Once out of its brown paper sleeping bag the label art is as charming as it is bizarre which further serves to add to this beer’s uniqueness. But what’s actually inside the pass-the-parcel style bottle you ask? Well it’s the bastard child of a traditional lager and a pale ale, and that’s only a good thing. The light malt flavor is well balanced with a dry hoppiness to make a very crisp and refreshing beer that is perfect whether you are eating roadkill under a bridge or chowing down on organic gluten free quinoa sausages before they are cool.
