After filling the internet with our fair share of unhealthy content we felt morally obliged to do something good for the community so this year MONTROMO are fielding a team of ‘runners’ in this years Run Ballarat event.
Our goal is to raise $1000 for the redevelopment of the Children’s Ward of the Ballarat Base Hospital by completing the 6km run at Run Ballarat. As sickly/accident prone children who have grown up to have sickly/accident prone children this charity is very close to our hearts, so much so we are willing to risk cardiac arrest, stroke, chafing and the very real possibility we will soil ourselves mid race to raise money for this cause.
As we go we’ll be posting updates and dumb stuff on how our training is going.
If you would like to run in team MONTROMO GO head to the Run Ballarat site to register and search and select MONTROMO GO as your team. If you are unable to attend the event you can also register as a virtual runner and have Jesse virtually carry you like a virtual Yoda!
And lastly if you’d like to donate you can donate your donation at our donation page. Donate.
Well Done
I am not sure whether my first message was launched. However, let me say again how appreciative and impressed we are with your efforts in raising $1262 for the children’s ward at Ballarat Health Services.
Your support of Run Ballarat took our funds raised this year to $170,000. Great Work.
